Beach House Selection Chardonnay 2022

"Our 2021 Selection Chardonnay is another stunner. 100% handpicked. 100% whole bunch pressed and fermented in our finest French oak barrels. 2021 was a stellar vintage in Hawke’s Bay and made for a relatively early start to harvest. The lions share of the fruit for this wine was hand-picked on February 25th and 26th. After cold setting the juice, we transferred it to both large format and traditional sized barrels where it spent the next 10 months.

The nose is filled with brioche, peach, melon and grapefruit pith with hints of toasted nuts and spice. On the palate the wine is seamless with many different flavours flowing nicely together. All the hallmarks of an ultra-premium Chardonnay are present - the fruit, oak and MLF flavours coalesce together nicely. Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay at its absolute pinnacle for what is arguably a very low price for this kind of quality."
