“Although this bold Chianti is quite developed, it has plenty of savoury character, as well as notes of bitter chocolate and dried sage. Full-bodied with plenty of supple tannins and lots of licorice and some herbal freshness at the finish.”

The Masi family have been making wine for three generations.

This Riserva Chianti is only produced in very good vintages and is from a selection of the very best grapes purchased from vineyards in the Chianti Sub-region of Rufina. Ageing in oak barrels for 12 months. 

Concentrated nose showing plum and berry characters and strong aromas of spicy oak. Full and round on the palate with soft tannins and a long, fruity peppery finish.
